A Message to all Filipino Rebels.

     José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, more known as Jose Rizal is a Filipino Nationalist and Polymath. He is also an Ophthalmologist and a writer of various anti-spanish books. 

     He was a key member of the Filipino Propaganda Movement which advocated political reforms for the colony under spain through his works. 

      He was executed for the crime of rebellion after the Philippine Revolution, which was inspired by his works Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, and other poems and essays.  

     Rizal was arrested on his way to Cuba via Spain, and was imprisoned in Barcelona. He was then sent back to Manila on the same day. 

    Rizal was killed, at 7am in Bagumbayan. At 6 am of the day before, Captain Rafael Dominguez read Jose Rizal’s Death sentence, declaring that he will be executed at 7am of the next day. Rizal was told to stand on a grassy lawn and have his back towards the soldiers. Rizal tried to face the bullets however, his body was only able to turn right and was the morning sun.
